Set up and manage alarms and media alarms

You tin set full general alarms, play your favorite music, or choose a graphic symbol equally an alarm with just your phonation. Alarms will audio for x minutes if not stopped or snoozed.

You can plow off a timer and general or media alarms without saying, "Hey Google." Just say, "Finish." This is available on Google Nest or Home speakers and displays in English language-speaking countries.

Notation:

  • Alarm sounds are simply played from speakers or displays. Warning sounds don't play on other Cast devices (TVs, other speakers) that are associated with your speaker or display.
  • Alarm tones can be changed on Nest displays once you kickoff an alarm. You can't change full general alert tones on speakers.
  • Alarm will audio for 10 minutes if not turned off.

Alarms

General alarms

To do this:  Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google," then:
Set new alert

"Set alert for six AM tomorrow"

To set an alert by affect (Nest displays merely):

  1. Swipe up from the lesser of your screen, and tap Alarms.
  2. TapReady an alert.
  3. Choose a time for the alarm and tap Fix.
  4. Customize your alarm to:
    • Brand the alert repeat.
    • Change the warning tone.
    • Include a sunrise alarm.
    • Play your morning Routine later on your warning goes off.
  5. When finished, tapDone.

Note: To view your current alarms and change your alarm defaults, swipe upward on your display and tap Alarmsand thenSettings.
Set warning with proper name "Prepare an alarm for seven AM called Medicine"
Set recurring alert "Fix alarm for seven AM every day of the week"

Media alarm

You can set your favorite music as an warning. Select a song, artist, genre or playlist from your default music service in the Google Domicile app. If you have a premium account with your default music service, you can besides apply the premium options the service offers.

Annotation: This feature is currently available in English, French (France and Canada), German, Japanese and Castilian on all Google Nest and Abode speakers. This feature is only available in US English language on all Google Nest and Home displays.

To practise this:  Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google," then:
Ready media, music or radio alarm

"Gear up <radio station> radio alarm for 6 AM tomorrow."
"Set <vocal or artist> music alarm for 7 AM Monday."

Set recurring media, music or radio alarm

 "Set <song or artist> music alarm for 7 AM every twenty-four hours."
Ask about existing alarm "When is my warning set for?"

Sunrise alarms
